In this episode of the Great Question podcast series, Emily Cash, director of global EHS and regulatory compliance for medical device manufacturer Tecomet, talks about the new digital demands of compliance and efficiency that manufacturing companies are trying to deal with. She details the role that connected data and systems can play in helping safety professionals better manage EHS.

In her role at Tecomet, Cash draws upon her experiences in safety, security and emergency management, along with numerous agency regulations. She's a former OSHA compliance officer who has maintained working relationships to stay current on monitoring the regulatory environment.

Among other things, she explains how Tecomet is using data to better manage workers’ compensation costs, which are much lower now than they were a year ago, with far fewer serious injuries. Hear more in the podcast below:
